Fathers-4-Justice to Lead Organizations and Family Members in “Justice March” through Washington DC
WASHINGTON DC ———- Fathers-4-Justice announced today that they are leading organizations and family members in a “Justice March” through Washington DC on August 16, 2008. The origination point of the Justice March is scheduled to launch from the DC FESTIVAL 2008 Civil Rights Event at Upper Senate Park and continue to the United States White House.
Children’s and Parent’s Rights organizations from
across the nation are scheduled to congregate on Washington DC this
August 15 & 16 at the Upper Senate Park. Why? Because government
policies do not reflect what is truly best for children and good
parents. The event is bringing the major issues facing parents to the
legislators’ doorsteps, their backyards, and their offices.
The “Justice March,” which is just one of many
featured events of DC Festival 2008, will be led by Fathers-4-Justice
and will have several organizations that believe there is a basic right
to parent their own children in the ranks. “No Government office or
entity should have the power to interfere with fit loving parents
raising their children, but through an error in law many families have
that experience” states Brian Holladay of Fathers-4-Justice. He also
states that “America ’s families have had enough and want to ensure
that current and future politicians know they will be held accountable
for the damages they are causing.”
The march will start at Upper Senate Park (August 16, 2008 3:00PM
EST) and head through the National Mall between Independence and
Constitution Avenue . Turning right at the monument built to honor one
of our nations fore fathers, George Washington, the column will cross
Constitution Avenue and head for the White House following Fifteenth
Street . Fathers-4-Justice® US (F4J®) is a
501(c)(3) not-for-profit, volunteer army of fathers, mothers,
grandparents, and others dedicated to fighting for truth, justice and
equality in family law.
