Pat McElligott: Supporter of Equal Parenting and Equal Access to School Records

Pat McElligott is a strong supporter of Equal Parenting Rights and Michigan's House Bill 4564.

His support doesn't stop there and he supports issues relating to equal access to educational records and many of his own piers regarding the approach to equal custody.

"Children need a balanced diet of a mother and a father" says Minister Ronald Smith of Grand Rapids, MI., and the bottom line is that both Pat and myself agree. We are all working together to reverse the damage that our government has caused to the family.

Because of dedication from individuals like Pat McElligott, House Bill 4564 begin the forward trend back to Constitutional law with it being a "self-evident fact that all [individuals] are created equally" and that parenting is a Constitutionally protected right not to be infringed upon by the State unless there is SUFFICIENT proven reasons for the State to do so.

The current reason that the state uses is simply because it is profitable for the state to break up families through their own voluntary compliance of the state with federal grant programs. Carol Rhodes, a former Friend of the Court Enforcement Officer, speaks out and tells the the participants at the Barry County Equal Parenting Symposium that she was instructed to essentially lie to mothers and fathers while providing services to the public. The Barry County Equal Parenting Symposium provided educational services to the public about the status of Michigan's Equal Parenting Bill, House Bill 4564.

While Kent County Friend of the Court employees and Kent County Judges are busy searching on the Internet to find more information about Lary Holland, all they had to do was ask...they too could have been invited right in their own backyard to participate in the Barry County Equal Parenting Symposium.

Lary Holland presented at the Barry County Equal Parenting Symposium about some of the reasons there are obstructions to state endorsed Equal Parenting. The reason is simple, "the State doesn't make any money when people are getting along." Federal funding stands in the way of Michigan's House Bill 4564 and this clip explains how. Simply put the Friend of the Court system in Michigan is paid to "break apart families."

Michigan Representative Fulton Sheen supports EQUAL Parenting in the State of Michigan as he presents at the Barry County Equal Parenting Symposium in Hastings, MI on June 5, 2007.

Michigan Representative Fulton Sheen has been on the Children and Family Services Committee for three terms, and is currently the vice-chair.

"What is the best environment for a child? A mother and a father," states Sheen.

Representative Sheen and his family is providing a great service to the State of Michigan. More footage of his questions and later statements will be available in the coming weeks.

This is just a sneak peek at the Barry County Equal Parenting Symposium.

The Barry County Equal Parenting Symposium was an event focusing on Equal Parenting Issues, organized by Phil Wurm of Barry County. The photo represents the panel of presenters at the symposium. Attendees included the Chief Circuit Court Judge of Barry County, Friend of the Court Citizen Advisory Committee Members from surrounding areas, Friend of the Court Representatives, and various business leaders, government officials, parents, grandparents, and leaders interested in Equal Parenting.
